Empowering students to learn, grow, and feel like they belong is something that really connects to my own life and experiences. I’ve seen how important support, encouragement, and a sense of community are for building confidence, and that’s what I hope to create for my students.

I love to go for hikes, especially when we find waterfalls along the way. Here is a recent hike my family and I did at Moul falls in Clearwater.
A really fun field trip we did with our 4-H Photography club was going to a bee farm on the lake. We got to see the bee’s in the hive (as seen in the picture) and we also got to look at bee’s under the microscopes which was really cool.

Up close picture of the bee’s. The kid’s had a really fun time during this field trip they got to take turns being Bee Keeper’s and learning all about how the bee’s make honey, and the general process of bee keeping.
This is my family, my 3 kids, husband, brother’s and sister waiting for the rest of the ice to come off the lake so we can start fishing. This was taken in my back yard on Bridge Lake. It is quite the hike through the back of the property to get to the lake but is so worth it once you get there. This is one of my favourite places.
